Our Story
Our Origins
In 2017, while traveling through South America, Thibault, our co-founder and CEO, was struck by the sheer contrast of lush, thriving ecosystems and degraded landscapes. It was then that he decided to dedicate his career to addressing the challenge of restoring our planet’s degraded lands.
In late 2020, he began surrounding himself with an incredible team, including our co-founder and Managing Director, Priscille, who brought with her a passion for empowering the people and communities that steward these lands.
A Purpose-Driven Mission
This journey since has led us to a single question, which has been woven into the very heart of the Ecosystem Restoration Standard: How can we achieve genuine restoration that works for the climate, biodiversity, and the communities who call these places home?
This same question - and the pursuit of an answer - provides the foundation for our every thought and action. It is an unwavering dedication to restore our planet’s wild, abundant, and interconnected life.
Our Vision
This is our vision of the future, a picture of our potential, a wilder Earth where people and nature, may once again, thrive together.
